A Tryst with a Vendetta

Remember Remember the fifth of november.......
Last nite i saw the latest hollywood blockbuster of Wachoski brothers which was rocking the hollywood since its release on march 17th , V for Vendetta truly a masterpiece which deserves a modest 8 on 10. The film, which was due to release in Nov 2005 was actually postponed bcoz of london bombings. The film raised a lot of questions(including ethical) abt the motives of the writers and the director. First and foremeost the basic plot deals with blasting of parliament(of course England) which was actually attempted by 19 men in 1605.The film captures the England in a futuristic sense wen it is ruled by a totalitarian govt(heavily inspired by the present day china) .The protagonist having has to face the tyranny of a misguided experiment transforms into a superhuman and fights against the govt with the help of a girl Evy(fantastically done by Natalie Portman).
The creators 0f matrix has a rare gift of usage(language) which is hardly found out in the present day movies and can make viewers sway their way. These kinda Films which emphasise more on the script and the language leave the viewer spellbound which is precisely wat happened to the souls who watched Matrix for the first time .Ofcourse i am sure that this film is no less wen compared to idea, taking. The only thing found short was of course a more clear or better screenplay.Hugo Weaving riding high on success with Matrix series(He was voted as the best sci fi villian of the 20th centuary) had done a remarkable role in the film even though he doesn't show his face even once (not even for a kiss). The director had rightly auditioned a british actor in the V role which is why the flow of language has created magic on the celluloid screen. The film notably is covered from Guardian to a local TOI has spurted a confusion on whether the movie was a supporting the cause of terrorism rooted in the modern world and according to me the film in no way has highlighted any aspect of terrorism and the blast of the parliament is a step taken to show the hatred of the people against their govt. The collapse of the system starts with the collapse of the components associated with it so parliament is an obvious choice which is why our BalSaheb actually desroys the cricket ground to stop the play(no hurt done to anybody so, kool...).
The movie also highlights the aspects of individual freedom and the govt depicted can also be taken as a metaphor to the current US govt which declares war every other year on some country for the one or other lame reason like Osama in Afganistan,WMD in Iraq and the question is did they find wat they r looking for? or atleast had gained ny thing worth substantial i guess nobody can answer this except Mr.bush .On the whole the film is enjoyable, thought provoking and finally carries the message of freedom which half the world seem to lack for reason unknown even to them.
